I was also experiencing dark pictures taken from my new MacBook Air to the point where they really didn't help much. I've tested this fix and pictures are much better.

The imagesnap binary has been updated to v0.2.5 to support the new -w (wait) parameter.

Here's a before and after picture with the changes, in the same lighting conditions.

Thanks for putting this up - just glad I always test Prey on new machines to check it's working before I set and forget it. I would have been very disappointed if it had got stolen and I then found I was getting very dark images and I couldn't apply this simple fix.

Hey Prey team I know you are busy on the new Node version, but I hope you get a chance to merge this and the latest version of imagesnap into the Mac release - I've just tested it and it works.

It would be great if this patch could be pulled. I had the exact same problem on a new MacBook Pro with Prey 0.6.3 and this patch fixed my issue.
