There are currently two cmdlets that get and set the current context. What is returned is the Client Side Object Model context (CSOM). We have automations that use the CSOM (in PowerShell) to automate certain SharePoint tasks. However, these cmdlets only return the Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.ClientContext context object. We also have automations that use the CSOM (in PowerShell) to automate tasks in Project Online.
This request is to also allow the ability to return the client context for Project Server. Currently, I see the only way to authenticate and get a Microsoft.ProjectServer.Client.ProjectContext object is using Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.SharePointOnlineCredentials. This however is considered legacy auth and doesn't support all the modern auth options like the SharePoint client context. Can this be added to these cmdlets?
