I have raspberry pi zero W with the latest legacy version installed. I used the curl install command. This did install and prompt me to reboot. After rebooting the screen, which previously was only backlit started showing the raspbian startup screen but all colors were way of and the brown-ish flex cable towards the LCD got blazing hot very fast and it looked like someone smashed the LCD, lines everywhere, many colors, and faded to black closer to the edges. I can verify that the LCD works perfectly fine on my RPI 3B+. What are some things I can try to fix this problem?

Also, I tried this as well:
⚠️ A fresh image is recommended, but otherwise make sure you also disable the hyperpixel4-init system service! ⚠️
but this just seemed to not do anything after reboot.

I appreciate your help and time :)
