Is it possible to cut a new release to these charts? The current latest tag of 0.5.0 corresponds to app version 4.0.1. There are a number of bug fixes that have been included in these charts that would be nice to have in a release and not have to carry separately.

Either way, thanks for the chart!

I'm also interested now that ocis has been release to version 6.0.0

I'm sorry, but so far there are no plans for releasing this Helm Chart again (or at least I don't know about them. @dragotin might know more?).

Right now there are two branches which currently track following oCIS versions:

  • main which tracks oCIS (rolling) 6
  • stable-5 which tracks oCIS (stable) 5

Ok. Seems odd to me to switch away from a release cycle but to each their own I guess. Is this helm chart expected to become more than experimental at some point?

Are there any release notes for upgrading an existing helm deployment (Chart release 0.5.0, app version 4.0.1) to either the main or stable version branches? Normally I would expect the helm chart to handle all of these issues for me but in the past instructions like https://doc.owncloud.com/ocis/next/deployment/container/orchestration/tab-pages/breaking-changes.html#0.5.0 were required.

This was not a deliberate decision I guess. It has more to do with time allocation and so on

I'd personally love to have it non-experimental. But for this we need releases, documentation, QA, ...
The chart itself is actually used for running multiple SaaS by the ownCloud company, so it won't go away or out of date anytime soon. There's currently just no general productization of it.
