Hi there,
I have noticed multiple problems with out app when going from Vue 3.4.4 to 3.4.5.
One is with HMR recognizing events (console log9, but not reloading components and the other one is one with
currentRenderInstance
somewhere.I have read that the render instance thing might be caused by multiple vue instances floating around the application.
If that is the case, it sounds to as if those two have a similar source. HMR could be broken, because the wrong instance of vue is getting notified about rerendering stuff.
Either way, I wanted to debug (git bisect) the commits from 3.4.4 to 3.4.5 and use the built libraries in my project.
My problem now is, that I can not find a way to get this working.
What I have tried:
npm add https://github.com/vuejs/core#0275dd329d241bdd84ce3ca0c7fc07211cb21751
Breaks with error messages about not being used with pnpm
pnpm add 'vuejs/core#path:packages/vue&0275dd329d241bdd84ce3ca0c7fc07211cb21751'
Breaks with error message:
vuejs/core
and runvue
everything is broken (css, renderInstance errors etc). Even if I usepnpm add /path/to/vuejs-core/packages/vue
. It does not matter which version I checkout invuejs/core
.What is the correct way to set this up?
This might not help me with my problem, but I would like to further narrow things down so I know what kind of error I am looking for in my application.
Thank you in advance :)
