Hello,
here https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=427735 I was suggested to try making a Feature Reques for Xreader on this discussion page (please let me know if this is not the right place; in this case it would be good to know where to post this one).
Suppose I have a 10 page pdf file and that I open it with Xreader 3.6.6 from Linux Mint 21.1.
Suppose that I close that pdf file while I am on page 8.
When I reopen that pdf file in Xreader, it opens at page 8.
Is there a way to tell Xreader to always open files from their start point and not from the position where they were closed the last time?
Going back to my example: I’d like that each time that I open that pdf file with Xreader, it opens on page 1.
If this feature is not already there, would it be possible to have it?
I was hoping in something similar to what can be done for the cursor of Xed, i.e.: gsettings set org.x.editor.preferences.editor restore-cursor-position false
