Ubuntu year-based version numbers give a useful information and also, knowing that a LTS is updates for 5 years it's easy to remember its EOL date.
For these informations and other purposes, it is useful to remember on which Ubuntu version a version of Mint is based.
However it's a headache to remember this link.
Same for LMDE/Debian link.
I wished Mint and LMDE would be numbered in accordance with their OS base.
e.g. Mint 22 based on Ubuntu 22 ; LMDE 12 based on Debian 12.
