Hi everyone!

My name is Beat, I'm a freelance software engineer and — as a mostly voluntary side job — environmental consultant. I have been committed to sustainable IT since 2010 and I'm one of the founders of the Green IT Switzerland association. Within that association, we have developed online tools to assess the Sustainable IT maturity of companies and individuals and to provide advice on how to improve it. However, this was mostly advice regarding the procurement, operation and disposal of hardware.

Since about a year, I'm combining my passions for software engineering and testing with sustainability; being part of the Green Software Foundation community is therefore only natural. I'm looking forward to interesting discussions!
