Hello Everyone

I'm Michele Slocovich (he/his/him), and I'm thrilled to be a part of the Green Software Foundation community. Based in the vibrant city of Milan, Italy, I work with CAST Software.

In my role at CAST Software, I wear many hats. I collaborate closely with our sales team, providing essential support to meet our clients' needs. Additionally, I work with the product team, gathering valuable insights and feature requests from our clients, ensuring that we're always evolving and meeting market demands. One of my passions is exploring innovative ways to make software (and the related downwards and upwards value chain) not just functional, but truly impactful and sustainable.

I view my involvement in the Green Software Foundation as a significant step towards taking responsibility for the environmental impact of the software industry. I believe that by fostering conversations around green software practices, we can drive positive change within our industry.
