Hi, everyone!
I'm Maria Fonseca (she/ her), a Director of AI Engineering at Avanade at the EU AI Hub. I'm also affiliated with the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon where I research in topics that intertwine Geology, Biology, Machine Learning and AI, and with OPIT where I lecture in Responsible AI and Human-Centered AI. As a Sociologist, a Biologist, a Geologist, and a Computer Scientist specialized in Data and AI, Green and Responsible AI are amongst my preferred topics to teach, research and advocate for.
