Hey, I really like the idea of having a Rust OCI runtime, but this project does not seem to have a clear maintainership, right?

Is it still supported by oracle? Do you consider having a base set of code owners to bring the project forward?

I am curious about the same thing. Did oracle shutdown the project? Go is not particularly good dealing with low level elements of the linux system, such as the namespaces. runc implementation therefore had to employ hacks to work around the issue.

I’m personally interested in pushing the project forward and I think having a clear maintainership would strengthen the Rust footprint in the containers ecosystem.

The slack link no longer works. I would also like to know which version of rustcc was last used successfully, as I'd rather stick with a stable rustcc, or even an apt-get'able one.

We have no current plans to continue development on Railcar. As such, we plan to archive this repo. I encourage you to fork and push it forward.
