Is your feature request related to a problem?
Our primary objective is to enhance the visibility of metrics generated by the Performance Analyzer. Presently, there is a lack of detailed metrics showcasing the performance of each collector, hindering comprehensive performance analysis.

What solution would you like?
We intend to address this limitation by introducing additional metrics, such as the volume of collected data in bytes. Additionally, we aspire to extend the OpenSearch API to provide performance insights for individual collectors, offering users a clearer picture of their performance. Furthermore, we aim to refine the PA status codes to provide more informative and actionable status reports for the performance analyzer plugin.
