Data archiving

I'm working on a project: millions of large entities go into opensearch every day. These entities need to be stored for several years. And then, if necessary, retrieve data for a particular day.

This is a large amount of data, so it needs to be archived. For convenience, indexes are created by day. To then load only one snapshot of one index, not many.

The question is: I can't find a standard archiving tool. Are there any known plugins for this? Or something similar?
