Add bindings for other languages?

The code base of the STL is C, which is pretty useful as it is mainly stable and works across platforms.
However, most users nowadays tend to use higher level languages/programming environment (e.g., Matlab, R, Python).

For easier use it would be great to provide language bindings for often used languages.
Then the STL code could be used directly in the programming environment and makes using STL simpler.
