Uses orthogonal bipolar electrode recordings to create vector loops. The principle axis of these loops represents the activation direction, originally applied using electrode plaques with a uniformly spaced electrode grid.(Kadish et al., 2003) Recently, this method has been extended – termed omnipole mapping – to perform conduction velocity assessment using the HD Grid catheter.(Massé et al., 2016; Deno et al., 2017)
