Anchor "categories" ?

I have a node with multiple "categories" of anchors. A detailed example might look something like this: https://blueprintue.com/blueprint/1606qrqp/

How could I prevent "white" anchors/edges from being connected to the "blue" anchors that you see at that link? What's the best way to implement something like this?
