@zWhdmB5T just to confirm, was this an issue before 3.9.7? Or is this new since the latest release?

Dear @jbonisteel

I started with v3.9.6 on desktop computer (have used OONI on smartphone, before and now). I do have this issue with 3.9.6 as well as with 3.9.7.

I also have two or three other AppImage apps: they work properly (install their GUI launcher via appimaged properly).
