Currently, Strongswan is left to use default logging which is configured using charondebug in the ipsec.conf configuration file. Its default behavior is to send all logs to Syslog, with the default level set to 1(audit) for all types.

Add better defaults and flexibility such as logging to file by using Strongswan's Logger Configuration
