  • when you open the .dmg file it just shows the executable without any indication what to do with it. Can you add some directions in there to tell folks to put the executable into the Applications folder? Many other installers show a symlink of the Applications folder to drag the app into.
  • the package is not signed Apple-approved way causing the message: “OMERO-Insight cannot be opened …” with only “move to Trash” and “Cancel”. as the options. Can you register with Apple to avoid all this? Or at least provide very clear instructions how folks can bypass Apple’s annoying security by going through the “Open Anyway” route?
