Safari nav bar issue #2328

Describe the bug
When using Safari, the nav bar glitches and the user is unable to click on any of the menu, the window seems to constantly switch between break points and device settings.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Go to 'website using Safari, Sonoma 17.3'
  2. Click on 'nav bar'
  3. Attempt to find teaching resources or account settings etc
  4. See error

Expected behaviour
User should be able to navigate to relevant places using the nav bar
