support or strategy for importing projects #21
Comments
Solving this via eclipse workspace setup is IMHO the wrong approach. Eclipse workspace is such a painful mess in this area and we would have to deal with binary files and strange state data. Instead we should suggest a simplified approach for the projects via existing solutions. One solution could be to suggest team project sets. Maybe we can also find a command-line tool that triggers import of a project into the workspace but I doubt that the Eclipse universe would allow to reuse the internal code easily to trigger this without the joy of an OSGi container and all the overhead. |

I am in contact with Frederic from yatta and it might work out that we can integrate some yatta task features that would solve this as well as #1. |
When using oasp4j-ide you can quickly setup your IDE with all required settings. This is cool.
However you still have to manually import the projects into your workspace.
It would be nice to have better support here.
