Describe the bug

opening a photo in files or photo app shows the viewer.
the viewer shows more than one picture.
it shows two if you select the first picture . and three for the next ones.
selecting a picture in bettween from the files pf photo app shwos the picture and the picture before and after.
then picture itself isn't resozed to the viewspace (screensize..)

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to files apps or photos and select a folder with pictures
  2. Click on the first picture
  3. Scroll down to with the mouse and clunt the pictures shown
  4. select the next picture ( arrow right or keyboard right arrow)
  5. and count the shown pictures

Expected behavior

i think the selection of a picture via click should show this picture, and sized to see it full in the usable windowarea.

nextcloud 29.0.7 and a view before that

Hi

I'm not fully sure I get what you're saying. Are you talking about the fact that when you open a picture, you can scroll amongst the other content of the folder?

Same here on version 29.0.7.

Same issue here... Also, it does not load the image i click on, it loads either the top image in the folder or the one above the image i click. Images load at 1x1 zoomed in and scrolling pushes second image into the picture composed above the first (like in the comment above.) It's a mess

I'm experiencing the same issue on Firefox 130.

It works on Firefox Focus and MS Edge.

I've tested a bit more and interestingly, it works in Firefox 130 Private Mode, but not in standard mode.
Private Mode loads the picture correctly and identical to other browsers, in standard mode it loads the picture in full resolution and then another picture below that (have to scroll down to it).

visual side by side comparison:
nextcloudviewer

I'm not an expert for websites, if you have any idea what to check to find the difference I can help debugging.

Can you force refresh the page?

I just did and that seems to have solved it!

I did recently upgrade the Nextcloud to version 29. I guess the browser had something cached that was recently changed?

Anyway, if this helps @bobobo-git as well, the issue could be closed.

That was a good observation. Seems the cache from previous version of NC was incompatible with the new version and it did not discard the old cache. Clearing the browser cache manually, solved the issue.
