Description

The ☁️ Nextcloud community will get together at the TU Berlin from August 23 to 30 for a week of talks and coding around the next generation private cloud technology. Talks will be on Saturday and Sunday, Friday we have a special Focus Friday on large scale and enterprise deployments.

The conference is focused on making Nextcloud better through discussions, coding, packaging, designing, translating and more, all with the participation of our amazing community. Directions for Applicants

Nextcloud is committed to support diversity and will provide support to people of underrepresented groups in tech. This includes people who belong to one or more of the following groups: women*, people of color, nonbinary & gender non-conforming people, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ people.

The event is free and provides catered lunch. We will provide up to 80% support of travel & accomodation costs during the event to people who have contributed to Nextcloud in one way or another. For instance, you can:

• 👩‍💻 Solve a good first issue
• 🎨 Work on the design
• 🐛 Test Nextcloud and report issues
• 🌐 Help with translations
• 🎉 Organize a local Nextcloud meetup
• ❓ Or contribute in other ways

Then, send a mail to [email protected] with subject [Diversity ticket] YOUR NAME and a link to your contribution, whatever it is!
