Default automatic colour styles in nextcloud writer #3494

Can you please provide the version of following:

Related: #3153 |
@pedropintosilva This looks like we lack proper automatic color within styles in the templates we ship here. Do you have anyone who could help to inspect and fix those? |

I was investigating this bug. So far, I have found that templates have already updated the automatic color field. Can anyone please try to upload the template below and attempt to reproduce it? In my case, the template is working fine. If it's working fine for you as well, then it's most probably a bug of not updating the richdocuments, You have to update it :) https://github.com/nextcloud/richdocuments/blob/main/emptyTemplates/template.odt |
I can't reproduce it with your file, but I provided a testfile in the other issue: #3153 (comment) |
@codewithvk When you import and open the template it works fine, but it seems like creating a new blank file through nextcloud does not open that template.... |
Thanks @codewithvk for creating CollaboraOnline/online#8553 to solve the last remaining issues when using spreadsheets |
How to use GitHub
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Everytime you open en new text document in nextcloud while in darkmode you have to change the text colour to automatic. When applying a style you will have to change the colour of the text again to be automatic. I think it would be valuable to have the text colour to be automatic by default as continously switching the textcolour can get quite annoying on larger documents.
Describe the solution you'd like
By default automatic text colour enabled and styles have automatic text colour too.
Describe alternatives you've considered
By default automatic text colours when opening the file in dark mode
