[Bug]: Notification not marked as read automatically #4825
Comments
I believe #4698 would solve this, @claucambra? |
I think @AndyXheli was referring to message notifications and not call notifications @camilasan |
@claucambra Hello the issue is with Talk notification, 2fa create your backup codes or any other text notifications |
@camilasan @claucambra Please see below images. If i close the desktop app and reopen it all will go away. But it happens with all notifications. even with text back on talk i replay back to the user via talk web and it still shows on the client has mark as read or replay |

Hello this is still an issue on 3.11.1 If I push a 2fa notification and approve it on my phone 1 or device 1, the approval will still be on device 2 once the approval is approved or denied it would be cleared out from all other devices and that's not happening I think the same thing as #5851 has to be done but for 2fa tokens #5851 seems to have addressed talk notifications |
Bug description
When i get a notification via talk, or system and if i dismiss them via the web they still show up on the client i have to close and reopen the client for them to sysyc properly and go away or i have to click on mark them as read for talk and x for other notifications
