⚠️ Before posting ⚠️

  • This is a bug, not a question or an enhancement.
  • I've searched for similar issues and didn't find a duplicate.
  • I've written a clear and descriptive title for this issue, not just "Bug" or "Crash".
  • I agree to follow Nextcloud's Code of Conduct.

Steps to reproduce

Battery dies before the end of the day. Nextcloud uses more CPU than any other app (Android OS itself uses 14%).
Auto-upload is enable (as it always was) but there is nothing to upload.
I have had Nextcloud for a couple of years and have never experience this.
There shouldn't be any task for Nextcloud to do.

Expected behaviour

Go to idle when there is nothing to sync and don't drain the battery.

Actual behaviour

Battery dies because of Nextcloud killing it.
