I just performed "open" on my observatory remotely with the nexdome control software on windows. Unfortunately something was stuck and I'm at a distance so I don't know what that is. However the shutter kept trying to open, despite commanding close, a few times. The state then ended up in "close" state but I had to have somebody shut off the shutter for me. Loud racket, probably not good on the battery or motor to do indefinitely.

Can you add an emergency stop, at least that is recognized to the xbee comm frequency?

looks like the firmware command SRS would do this, but the button would need to be added to the UI. I looked into doing this a bit, the UI is using absolute positioning though so I wasn't able to do anything quick - I also haven't really setup any machines to do C# compiling.
