Our goal is to increase transparency in official information channels around the world.

This is an open source project to create a standard, internationalised platform for making Freedom of Information (FOI) requests in different countries and languages.

Alaveteli is usually installed and run by groups who campaign on Freedom of Information. Our goal is to support groups to get an Alaveteli system up and running within a few days of installing the software.
