i had the problem, that using this mali module and the armsoc x11 server from mripard resulted in black areas on the screen and a missing cursor (SWCURSOR option was ignored too). both got fixed by simply using the armsoc xorg server from: https://github.com/paolosabatino/xf86-video-armsoc ... using this one results in no more black areas and i have a proper cursor. maybe this might be of interest for others too.
