</h2>
<p id="p-2415">It is best to use earbuds when using the fm radio tuner. The earbuds will act as an antenna to improve reception.</p>

<li id="li-2325"><p id="p-2423">There is more than one way to open the fm tuner. One way to open the tuner is to start from main menu. Press "m$"$ to open the media center. Then space to the fm tuner and press enter. Do this now.</p></li>
<li id="li-2326"><p id="p-2424">Press enter with dots1 3 to turn the volume down for the radio. To turn the volume up, press enter with dots4 6. You can use these commands any time the radio or other media files are playing. Volume of media can be adjusted even when you are in other BrailleNote applications.</p></li>
<li id="li-2327"><p id="p-2425">In the radio tuner, press space or backspace to scroll through the preset stations. Do this now.</p></li>
<li id="li-2328"><p id="p-2426">You can scan for new stations. Scan forward with space and dot4. Space with dot1 will scan back for new stations.</p></li>
<li id="li-2329"><p id="p-2427">Use space with dot2 or space with dot5 to scan back or forward by the frequency of 1 megahertz.</p></li>
<li id="li-2330"><p id="p-2428">You can increase or decrease the frequency by 11 kilohertz to more finely tune your station. Try this by using space with dot3 or space with dot6.</p></li>
<li id="li-2331"><p id="p-2429">If you find a station to add to the presets, press backspace with r.</p></li>
<li id="li-2332"><p id="p-2430">While in the tuner, press space with h to locate and read a list of fm tuner commands.</p></li>
<li id="li-2333"><p id="p-2431">Explore using the radio tuner as time allows.</p></li>
<li id="li-2334"><p id="p-2432">When you finish exploring, press e with space to exit the fm tuner. Press y to leave the radio on. Press n to turn the radio off.</p></li>
<li id="li-2335"><p id="p-2433">Open any keyword document. You can work and listen to the radio. Press enter with backspace with f to quickly switch to the fm tuner.</p></li>
<li id="li-2336"><p id="p-2434">To switch back to your document and keep the radio on, press enter with backspace with w. This will work with other BrailleNote applications as well.</p></li>
