Hi , @mpromonet. Thanks for your great project.
I have a question, can you make your project v4l2rtspserver be response for device hotplug event, like as /dev/video8.
when I tested your project APP, everything is OK, but when I plug out and plug in /dev/video8, the rtsp-stream stopped, and
nothing can proceed. I don't want to restart this process and re-play rtsp-client app . can you do or can you tell us how to deal with this situation.
Thanks very much.

There is probably some works to support removal and recreation of capture device. Maybe a workaround could be to use a v4l2loopback virtual device (that will always exists and feed v4l2rtspserver) and the hotplug event start a script that copy frames for the hotplug device to the loopback device.
