Part of the reason Mooshimeter failed in the hobbyist community #5

The Mooshimeter device itself is pretty nice. Well made, well thought out. I bought two of them 5 or so years ago and have used them for about 10 minutes each. Who the &^%$ wants a meter tied to a phone? Stupid idea.

I was hoping that it could be used with a PC to collect and store data. I don't want to use my phone for every fricking thing. Bad enough to have to use it for banking, texts, phone calls and things for which it was intended.

James made this indecipherable Python port which is usable if you also got the tools/library for the BLe-112. The code and the interface is usable for data scientists but not casual hobbyist users that don't want to spend years becoming Pythonic.
A simple ble to serial interface would have been great... like I use to send data back and forth with a couple HC-05's. I gave up trying to understand this whole over-achiever-developed python code. So now my Mooshimeters sit in a drawer and I use some cheap ble meters from Home Depot that are easy to talk to from a PC.
