When do you plan to release?

The README says "a proof of concept will be available on very short notice" 6 months ago. I am thinking of building something like this but don't want to invest the time if this is coming out soon.

Whilst I'm sure the author started out with the intent to actually do something, right now this is some header imports and a package.json file, and a prime example of npm-squatting on a package name.
