Currently the file manager produces PNG thumbs of SVG Images. But SVG images could be displayed by the browser without loosing quality, esp. for small svg files (icons etc). I could imagine a differentiation here: delivery of pure svg if sile size is less than X kb, thumbnailing and delivery as PNG with larger files.
