Time series for BCs that have varying values along their length

I wonder if someone could share an example of how to use time series for BCs that have a gradient, i.e., a river section for which the upstream and downstream stage time series are available, etc.? Any kind of BC type would be useful as an example.

Finally I solved it myself. It wasn't too difficult, but I'm pretty sure the code could be simpler if developped by a more knowledgeable FloPy guru. Let me share a couple of findings that may or may not all relate directly to the problem.

1. I found that gridgen's intersect method will add those nodes that include vertices of a line object twice to the returned recarray. I'm not sure if this is on purpose or not, but because of this the recarray may requires a node cleanup if used to build a boundary condition package.
2. I could not figure out completely what is the difference between "interpolation_methodrecord" and "interpolation_methodrecord_single" in initializing a .ts package. It is not fully covered in the docs. I also found that this property will not accept a single method if there are multiple namerecords. A list is expected even if the same interpolation method applies for each time series.
