Swipe slows down and stops working after some swipes on a horizontal ScrollView

Is there an existing issue for this?

• I have searched the existing issues and didn't find mine.

Steps to reproduce

• Expo Snack;
• Gist with Maestro Test;

Actual results

As demonstrated in the video, the first swipe behavior is acceptable, but the next one's are very tiny, until it totally stops.

Expected results

The swipe should work until the respective text is visible.

About app

• Closed source project;
• Android focused, but IOS versions are possible due to the framework;
• React Native (Expo):
  • React Native 0.74.5;
  • Expo 51.0.31;
