Maybe it's a weird niche thing but I think there might be a slight UX problem when a new user only has one day's worth of data and then tries to export. It might not be intuitive to everyone that you need to press the one day on the calendar selector twice (start and end date).
So maybe it's best to just auto select the one day both as start and end date?
