It's not a problem, more a feature request.

Describe the solution you'd like
Well the title is self-explanatory. I'd have atleast 2 functions:

Hide chat completely while in combat
Auto-fade the chat when entering combat, allowing new messages to still appear

Toxicom added the feature request label
