Gazebo crashes when changing max_step_size #16

I am trying to get real time factor exactly equals to one and one way to do it is to change the max_step_size parameter and the real time update rate keeping max_step_size*real time update rate equal one.But If you change the max_step_size, Gazebo crashes. What could be the problem?
set max_step_size=0.01 for example.

Do you run this simulation with gmapping successfully? I can't receive map messages.
