Idea Description

As the data platform service area

We need to identify and capture metrics

So that we know how our service is performing

Why Should We Do This

We should have metrics so that we can measure success and learn how user interact with our service. Multiple stakeholders also have an interest in how our service performs.

Definition of Done

1. We have identified who is interested in our metrics, what metrics they are interested in and why. This will ensure that we capture meaningful metrics that add value.
2. Identify solution/options for capturing our metrics
3. Carry out a PoC for capturing a metric

What skills do we need?

The entire team to work towards identify metrics and explore how we can capture these.
