Can't get Scandinavian keyboard to work on Samsung Galaxy S III

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Enter new SMS
2.Press and hold input field
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expect to see a pop-up where I can choose the Scandinavian keyboard. The only 
change is that the cursor (blue) shows up. 


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Samsung Galaxy SIII, Android 4.0.4


Please provide any additional information below.

The app has been activate in the "language and input" section
