Test credentials returning 500 status - Mercado pago API

Hello, I hope everyone is well
I'm having difficulty using the mercado pago API.
When I try to use the test credentials to simulate the integration, I receive error 500 and just that.

The error happens both in postman and using the sdk.

I've already tried with production credentials - in this case it accepts the request with status in_progress then if you perform a GET using the payment id it shows the rejected status.

Has anyone gone through something similar?

Since you faced the same problem when requesting the API directly, the recommended channel for support is https://www.mercadopago.com/developers/en/support/center/tickets

Hi, for everyone wondering, i got it fixed, if anyone is having troubles, following the steps below might help.

@zanniboni where did you set up the seller's email? I'm facing the same problem.

You need to login into mercado pago as a "Vendedor / Seller" - Get the USER + password of your seller test account and use the test credentials of it in order to test the integrations.

The documentation poorly covers this and we need to figure out by ourselves, or ask the dev support like i did haha
