Although the app is successfully storing default payment methods, and converting quotes to subscriptions, it is not updating the pending balance as expected. This is because invoices are not finalized and paid for until an hour later. This isn't a bug per se, but might not be what's expected from the UI/UX experience.
Additional research should be done to determine if this is standard behavior when a client is signing up for a subscription. In the mean time, it's recommended to update the front end to make it clear to the client that there will be a delay in updating the pending balance, and that there will be an additional delay in the money being sent to the client's bank.
