Late mattermost mobile notifications. (1 hour late...)

Summary

Using Webhook, I send notifications to a private channel with the tag "@ALL" in the pretext section. I get a notification of the message sent an hour ago on my phone's notification screen. This goes on for hours.

Environment Information

• Device Name: Iphone 14 pro
• OS Version: IOS 17.5.1
• Mattermost App Version: v2.18.1
• Mattermost Server Version: 9.4

Steps to reproduce

Send more than 100 messages to a private channel via Webhook within one hour. Tag "@ALL" in the pretext section of the messages. Read the messages on your phone. Then switch off the phone. Enjoy the notifications that fall later :)

Expected behavior

I expect notifications to appear on my screen only when they are sent and not afterwards.

Observed behavior (that appears unintentional)

I'm getting the normal notification message.

Possible fixes

I don't know.

Would you be open to upgrading your server to see if it helps with the issue? We currently support v9.8 and later.
