This SQL "select ti,-si from (select * from t1) sub order by -si desc;" only use '-si' to sort data. If there are some data equal, it should point out how to deal with them.

I have tested on MySQL 8.0.23 and Matrix-0.5.0.

Yes, you are right, It is a known issue of mo-tester ,and the fix plan is going on
