Add metrics to the home page? #42

Food for thought. Would it be of interest to include some set of metrics about MBON to the home page?

Initially it would be nice to have:

number of projects
number of publications/presentations
number of data & tool products

Some background, we're updating https://ioos.noaa.gov/about/ioos-by-the-numbers/ and it would be nice to have a stable spot to pull some metrics from.
