LogfileReaderRandomAccess.java is not currently being compiled and used. It is no longer up to date with the ILogfileReader interface and could probably be deleted.

I've been wondering if that could be used to shorten the playback delay with non-compressed logfiles when jumping around a lot (slider, next / previous goal etc).

That might be something worth looking into, however LogfileReaderRandomAccess.java will need to be changed a bit to match changes to the ILogfileReader interface before it will compile.
