The current list of changes so far includes

  • move CODEGEN to Olivier's latest gpucpp, including his port to Fortran of Stephan's unweighting improvements, writing out fewer events to disk after the first unweighting ("unw" branch)
  • add to code generation and to the repo the pp_tt012j process ("pptt" branch)
  • Stephan's fix for compile counters with -O3 in the Fortran madevent makefile #740, adding -O3 to the build of counters.cc in fortran madevent

I have stripped off most changes previously here - and new changes for coloramps - in MR #742, which I just merged.

Keeping this open with Stephan's patches from yesterday evening and as a basis for further changes.

Hi @roiser @oliviermattelaer @hageboeck @zeniheisser @Jooorgen

I have merged all of the AUG2023 patches from last week in separate MRs. The last piece was Stephan's initProc changes in the parm card path, which I just merged as MR #751.

I have then rebased AUG2023 to upstream/master, and not surprisingly there are no differences left to upstream/master. I have forced pushed it, and the MR has magically (surprisingly) auto-closed itself... which was something I was planning to do anyway.

So: there is no need for AUG2023 anymore. I suggest that if you have any patches you can start from upstream/master...

(I will leave the branch there anyway - I hope the forced push did not disturb you: a merge had some commits to solve, which would have resulted in upstream/master anyway...)
