I'm maintaining a fork here mill1000/midea-ac-py.

New features:

Automatic device discovery in the GUI
Support for sleep preset.
Support for freeze protection/away preset.
Presets are only displayed in supported modes.
Fixed issue with HA async update state.
Added switch to control device display.
Added binary sensor for filter dirty warning
Fetch min/max temperature settings from device.

The following issues have been addressed: #217, #216, #204, #197, #190, #189, #187, #186, #183, #182, #175, #154, #136, #46, #40
