Scale bar

It would be nice to have a scale bar in one of the corner of the map.

Hm isn't the measurement tool superior to a simple scale bar?

It definitely is, and is a great addition to the app! But the scale bar gives you an idea of scale at first glance (it is very easy to read a scale bar on the fly), while the measurement tool requires a few clicks to get there (but allows for much finer measurements, including areas!).
